Frequently Asked Questions
What do we do?
1
We find the right day camp in Europe for your child, personally. We ask the right questions, research the options, and come back with a recommendation that fits your child specifically — not a generic list.Your family comes to Europe for the summer. Your child attends camp during the day. We make sure everything around that — where your family stays, how the logistics work — is taken care of, depending on the tier you choose.
Can you help us find somewhere to stay for the summer?

Yes — and for most families, this is one of the most valuable parts of what we do.Because ESS is a day camp programme, your family is in Europe for the summer — which means you need somewhere to live, not just a hotel for a few nights. We find accommodation that works for your family: the right location relative to the camp, the right size, the right feel. This is included in The Summer Immersion and The Effortless Summer tiers. We always find the camp first. The accommodation is chosen to support the experience — and to make sure your whole family's summer is extraordinary, not just your child's.
The earlier the better. The day camps we recommend tend to fill between February and April for the following summer — and the best accommodation goes even faster in peak destinations like Mallorca or Barcelona.Families who come to us in October or November have the most options and the most time to plan a summer that feels considered, not rushed. That said — if you're reading this in spring and wondering if it's too late, it probably isn't. Reach out and we'll tell you honestly what's still possible. The first conversation costs nothing and there's no commitment. It's just a conversation.
How far in advance do we need to start?

Camp fees, accommodation, and travel are paid directly to the providers. Our fee covers the curation, the recommendation, and our time.
